Welcome to the Medway Youth Lacrosse website!   Parents and athletes, please utilize this great resource to access important dates/events, documents, team information, practice and game schedules, as well as contact information.   It is our goal to take this program to the next level and continue to see growth and success for Medway Youth Lacrosse.

COVID-19 Protocols 


Before you leave home: 

  • Check your temperature. 

  • Players must bring a cloth mask, hand sanitizer, and personal hand towel. 

  • Pack 1-2 water bottles. 


Arrival at the field: 

  • Attendance will be taken before every practice/game for contact tracing.  

  • Park only in designated area(s).

  • Players will walk from their cars fully dressed for practice/games. Equipment bags are not allowed on the playing field. Players are allowed to bring one water bottle. 

  • For practices, no spectators will be allowed on the field. Only players and coaches are allowed on the field. 

  • For games, two spectators per player are permitted to attend. 

  • Players may not congregate before or after practice/games.

  • Carpooling is not recommended. 

  • Max (50) people (players & coaches) on the playing field.

  • Coaches and Parents must wear masks at all times.



  • All equipment provided will be sanitized prior each practice or game. 

  • Participants will use only the equipment they’re given at the beginning of the session, no sharing. For example, we will not have goalies switching in and out of equipment or sharing equipment this season. 


Team practice: 

  • Squads will be assigned to a section of the field. 

  • Social distancing requirements are in effect for all aspects of the training. Practices will emphasize fitness and stick work. 

  • Small groups of 10 will practice social distancing during drills or demonstrations. 

  • Individual skills and repetitions.

  • Short teaching sessions. 


Follow up: 

If your have any illness or COVID-19 specific symptoms, please report so that players, coaches, and officials may be notified. If there has been any known exposure to your family, please stay home for two weeks.


Additional recommendations outlined by US Lacrosse:

  • All participants should stay at home if they are feeling sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. 

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and equipment and do not share equipment, water bottles or towels.

  • Face masks are required for staff, coaches, officials and designated adults serving as hygiene support for all practices and activities. Athletes may wear a face mask during lacrosse activity.

  • Upon returning home from practice, have players shower and wipe down all gear and equipment.
