The boys' youth teams are a part of the MBYLL - Mass. Bay Youth Lacrosse League.   Medway is part of the South Central region.

Typical Schedule:  Boys' games are usually held between 12 - 4:30 on Sundays.  A few  mid-week games are also played.  Practices are usually twice a week - schedules are set according to coach availability.  Most home games and practices take place at the Middle School.

The required Medway High School helmet is the CASCADE PRO 7 helmet in Silver/Grey.  This helmet is reported to have superior protection and comfort.   TriValley Sports has a reasonable price.  If you're in the market for a helmet, and your son intends to play on the High School team, purchase the Cascade Pro 7 in Silver/Grey. 

 

Coach Brady, the varsity coach for Medway HS lacrosse, has put together a team purchase program for helmets and gloves which he is extending to the youth program. The helmet is the Cascade model PRO 7 in the required Medway HS colors.  From Coach Brady’s personal experience he has found it to be the lightest, most comfortable helmet he has ever played in.  It is specifically designed for maximum safety and especially to prevent concussions.  

The PRO 7 normally sells in the $280 range but can be bought through this program for $135. This is a one size fits all helmet that can last a youth player through high school.  

The glove program offers 4 different price points from $85 through $150 and will come with the Mustang Logo embroidered on them.
